How to sign plastic cutlery: fleshig, milchig, parve?

To not mix up the plastic spoons, forks and knifes I wonder how I may mark them.

For me the best would be to buy three colours of nail polish: blue, red and yellow and make a little spot at the top of the handle on the back side so that it would not be obvious to guests e.g. who would perhaps not like it.

I would do the same on the backside of the three kinds of paper-plates and plastic soup plates / salad bowls / dessert bowls

You can mark them, that is a good idea, but I think many people just have a different style of utensil for each so that they don't get mixed up.

  OK, thank you -
I just found a German supermarket in the Internet who sells cutlery of stainless steel in different styles rather cheap.
The cheapest type of very thin stainless steel even has nearly the same price as if I bought a 24-part-plastic set of cutlery.
Unbelievable!!!
I am very encouraged
